About Covenant Land

Understand the U.S. Constitution

We urge members of the Church and all Americans to begin now to reflect more intently on the meaning and importance of the Constitution, and of adherence to its principles. -First Presidency 1973

Do you understand the Constitution enough to defend it?  Do your kids?  This curriculum will help you know it enough to defend it!

Faith Based

I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood.   D&C 101:80

The Covenant Land book incorporates quotes and scripture from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It will help you know why this land is so important and our role in helping preserve it.

Inspired Founding Fathers

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free … it expects what never was and never will be.”
-Thomas Jefferson

The founding fathers of the United States were inspired men. They were not working alone when they wrote the Constitution.  Learn about their stories and miracles!

I have always wanted a simple easy way to teach my family the principles of liberty, how America is a covenant land, and how the gospel ties everything together. This is it!  I'm so excited!

Elizabeth Little

Creating this book has blessed my life and I know teaching it to my kids will be an amazing experience this year! It combines my love of this country and my love of the gospel into one great resource!

Karyn Tripp

Every family needs this book!! I love this family study guide!  Over the years I have realized if I study the founding of American without the gospel of Jesus Christ as a key component, I miss so many truths and beautiful connections.  Learning the principles of the constitution along with the truths of the Book of Mormon and quotes from the prophets instill these truths in a profound way in our children's hearts!

Paige Anderson

Defending the Constitution

"Let [the Constitution] be taught in schools, in seminaries, and in colleges; let it be written in primers, spelling-books, and in almanacs; let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislative halls, and enforced in courts of justice. And, in short, let it become the political religion of the nation."   -Abraham Lincoln

Marilyn Bazinet

Writer, Resource Guide, YuuTube Channel

Marilyn loves a beautiful cause. And from here we’ll go with first person—I love learning, adventures of all kinds but especially adventures in nature and/or living out some part of an experience from a book we have read. I love reading aloud or being read to. I am addicted to watermelon and I have a decent track record picking out the amazing ones (not 100%). I am a proficient stalker. This means I love to hang out with passionate people and learn from them. My favorite times are laughing with my family—It’s the best medicine for sure. I served a mission in Portugal. I studied at BYU and it completely changed my heart forever. Mostly I love Jesus and I’m trying to be like Him. I blow it everyday and that’s about right.
